There are few places as beautiful as the Northwest. It's probably why I can't think of any other place I'd rather live. I grew up in what used to be the small town of Gig Harbor, Washington, went to school in Pullman (Go Cougs) and spent a summer in Bellingham.
I've been with NorthWest Cable News since 1996. After a year covering stories in Boise, then another two years living and working in Portland, I moved to the Seattle area where I currently co-anchor the weekday mornings. During my tenure I've covered stories from Twin Falls to the Coast. From mudslides in Idaho, to the New Carissa beaching in Waldport, to more whale stories than I could have possibly imagined, I've found each part of the Northwest has its own stories, and its own flavor. It has afforded me an opportunity to see some great places and meet some wonderful people.
When I'm not working, you can usually find me working on my house or spending time with the family and our two dogs. I love projects, but also love to play. Winters on the mountain, summers on the water, and salmon fishing any chance I get.
