PARKLAND, Wash. — Police are searching for a suspect connected to the killing of a 19-year-old man in Parkland on Wednesday night.
The police investigation blocked State Route 7 for hours Wednesday night.
According to Sgt. Darren Moss with the Pierce County Sheriff's Department, a man was found dead at the scene near 118th Street and Pacific Avenue.
A gun was found on the ground at the scene, along with multiple unspent rounds and shell casings, according to Moss. No suspect has been identified, but they are believed to have left the scene in a vehicle.
