Kitsap County Sheriff's Office looking for suspect in armed gas station robbery

A new surveillance video shows one suspect using a gun to threaten a clerk to hand over money behind the register.

GORST, Wash. — Deputies are working to identify a suspect wanted in connection to an armed robbery of a Gorst gas station early Monday morning. 

In a new surveillance video released by the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office, a suspect is seen threatening a gas station clerk with a handgun while demanding cash and other items in the store early Monday morning.

Officials are now asking for the public's help to identify the suspect of the armed robbery. It happened at a Food Mart gas station in Gorst on Highway 16 at 3:27 a.m. 

According to the sheriff's office, the suspect left the gas station in a red Ford Super Duty extended cab. There was another person inside the truck who was not shown in the video.

Police are asking people with information to call 911 or email their tip line at KCSOTips@kitsap.gov
