SEATTLE -- Law enforcement from Washington state who traveled to Texas to attend memorial services for the fallen Dallas police officers say the support has been incredible.

After the five officers were killed last week, Puyallup police officer Craig Gocha says there was no question he wanted to go.

"It's just what we do," said Gocha.

Gocha is one of six officers in the Metro Honor Guard who are in Dallas.

Like it did in 2009 when four Lakewood Police officers were murdered, Gocha says the community is embracing support from across the country.

"The support has really been incredible. We wanted to represent Washington state well and show the people of Dallas that this is who we are," Gocha said.

Alaska Airlines and Southwest Airlines paid for their flights. The Dallas Hotel Association is paying for their rooms.
