Two Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Halls in Olympia and Tumwater were hit by arsonists Monday morning.
Surveillance video from one of the Jehovah's Witnesses hall fires shows the arsonist lighting it with what appears to be gasoline, according to investigators.
The Olympia location, which is about three miles north of the Tumwater Kingdom Hall, has about $50,000 worth of damage.
No one was injured in the fires.
Police are searching for suspects.
Velma Walter, who lives next to the Olympia Kingdom Hall, said it was sad to see firefighters and ATF agents on the property.
"It shouldn't happen, but it does," said Walter.
She said anyone who belongs to a non-conformist religion has to deal with ridicule and threats.
"This hatred against different religions, the bible foretold, that it would be like this," said Walter.
