REDMOND, Wash. – A driver was killed Monday after their car crashed through a guardrail, down an embankment and burst into flames.
Redmond Police say the car was traveling at high speed on NE 24th Street when it went across West Lake Sammamish parkway and down the embankment at 4:20 a.m.
The car landed just short of going into Lake Sammamish.
The driver died at the scene. There were no passengers in the car.
The car may have to be removed by boat because it’s hard to access from the road.
