One person died and two more were injured in a Bonney Lake house fire Thursday afternoon.
East Pierce firefighters responded to a third alarm residential fire at 147 Street East and Prairie Ridge Drive just before 4 p.m.
When officers arrived at the burning mobile home, two people were able to escape on their own. However, one person was still trapped inside, and was found dead.
The two injured people were taken to Harborview, and their condition is unknown.
The cause of the fire is unknown and under investigation.
Orting Valley firefighters assisted in the effort.
