In today's A Family for Me, we meet 9-year-old Jerimiah. He's one of nearly 9,000 kids in Washington living in foster care.
Jerimiah is funny, smart and a big Star Wars fan. This third grader also has a great imagination.
His foster family says he's kind and compassionate, and he needs parents who understand how trauma early in child's life can impact them as they grow. Jerimiah wouldn't mind having a brother or sister, although counselors say he'd do great as an only child or as the youngest in the family.
