Tens of thousands of snow geese started arriving on the farm fields of Skagit County this week.
The birds, visitors from Alaska and Canada, spend the winter grazing in Western Washington as they build up energy for their spring migration.
The fields make popular destinations for photographers as they all take off at once, creating a gorgeous and unique picture with a backdrop of snowcap mountains.
