LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) – Three types of canned dog food from a Wisconsin-based pet food company have been recalled.
According to a notice posted Friday, Marcy 18 on the Fromm Family Pet Food website, some of the company’s canned foods have been voluntarily recalled.
The recall notice states that the 12 ounce cans of Gold canned dog food pates may contain elevated levels of Vitamin D, so the cans have been recalled as a safety measure.
The cans were shipped to distributors between December 2015 and February 2016.

The company stated that they have had no reports of illness, but recommends that you not feed your dog the following products:

-12 oz. Gold Salmon & Chicken Pate can case code #11891, individual can UPC: 72705 11890
