If you love Dawgs, of the canine variety that is, the University of Washington has the perfect job for you.

The UW seeks mascot handlers for Dubs I and Dubs II for the 2018 football season.

The university’s live mascot will transition from Dubs I, a 10-year-old Alaskan Malamute, to 5-month-old Dubs II at the end of the 2018 football season.

Dubs II has already made the rounds at football practice and will be training for the role during the upcoming football season.

Mascot handlers will accompany the mascot one to two times per week to Husky events from July through June 2019. The handlers must have a background or interest in dog behavior and handle a large dog – including sprinting 100 yards.

The perks include a starting $500 scholarship per academic year, a season pass to Husky home games, and Nike attire.
