KIRKLAND, Wash. — The popular farm-to-table fast-casual restaurant Sweetgreen is opening multiple Seattle-area locations this year.
The first location to open will be at the Village at Totem Lake in Kirkland on Tuesday, Jan. 16.
According to its website, for every meal sold on opening day, they will donate a meal to Northwest Harvest.
Later this year, Sweetgreen also plans to open two other locations in Seattle. One will be on 11th Avenue and Pine Street, the other will be in South Lake Union. Those two locations do not have official opening dates yet.
Sweetgreen has hundreds of locations in operation across the country. The fast-casual restaurant specializes in salads, bowls and sides that are made from local ingredients. They work with local vendors in each region.
The Totem Lake location is the first Sweetgreen in Washington state.
