The highly anticipated Puyallup Police Department lip sync video dropped Monday with a special presentation at the Washington State Fair.
The department subsequently uploaded the video to YouTube and posted the link on its Facebook page.
"We are pleased to present you with more than just a music video, but a highly suspenseful, energetic short film," the Puyallup Police Dept. Facebook page posted Monday.
It's clear why Puyallup police took so long to release their lip sync video. Not one, not two, but dozens of songs are highlighted through the video that runs just short of ten minutes.
The video plays like a short film with a story following one police officer haunted by the Puyallup community's love of lip sync videos and their desire to see a response by the police department.
There's acting, suspense, dancing, and enough songs to fill an album.
Puyallup police had some help from members of the fire department, jail, city workers and plenty of extras at the Washington State Fairgrounds.
The department finishes the video with a challenge to the Washington State Patrol.
