SEATAC, Wash. - The final section of Sound Transit's Link Light Rail, linking the Sea-Tac Airport to the Tukwila Station, will open Dec. 19.
Sound Transit made the announcement Friday morning.
The first part of Light Rail opened July 18, stretching from Tukwila to Downtown Seattle.
Future plans for Light Rail include expansion to the University of Washington, across Lake Washington to Bellevue, north to Lynnwood and south to Federal Way.
