Seattle hit 82 degrees on Thursday, tying the record set back in 1947. The official temperature gauge at Sea-Tac Airport hit 82 at 3:30 p.m.
Seattle broke another record this week, topping out at 77 on Tuesday, beating the old record of 76 set back in 1977.

After the warmth on Thursday, highs will drop back into the 50s and 60s for the weekend as a cut-off low approaches and brings a few showers back to the area.
If anyone reading this happens to live on the coast, my apologies go out to you. You're not going to be getting any kind of warmth on Thursday. The wind looks to shift, and you'll feel the impact first.
Highs on the coast will drop from the 70s, down into the 50s and 60s with an on-shore breeze between 5 - 15 mph. The rain looks to hold off until the weekend when highs struggle to get into the 50s in a few spots.
