SEATTLE -- At least five people were injured after a Link light rail train and a van collided in Seattle's Rainier Valley neighborhood Friday afternoon.
The collision happened at Martin Luther King Jr. Way South and South Brandon Street.
Five people were taken to the hospital with injuries ranging from minor to serious, said Seattle officials.
Traffic in the area has been stopped due to the collision. Drivers are advised to take alternate routes.
