'Belltown Hellcat' driver facing eviction from Seattle apartment building

Miles Hudson has repeatedly violated the conditions of his lease, according to his building's owner.

SEATTLE — The seemingly never-ending wave of legal issues facing the driver of the "Belltown Hellcat" continued last week.

Miles Hudson's Belltown apartment building filed a complaint on July 9 to evict him, citing a 10-day warning for him to comply with the terms of his lease or vacate his unit. The complaint references several instances of Hudson continuing to violate the terms of his lease, according to the court documents.

This comes after Hudson failed to appear for a July 3 court appearance related to stalking and revenge porn charges from incidents with an ex-partner. A warrant was issued for Hudson's arrest.

West Edge Apartments, owned by PR 1430 LLC, said Hudson was given a 10-day notice to comply or exit premises on May 14. The company says it received word three days after the deadline to comply that Hudson was playing music so loud behind a closed door that neighbors were unable to work from home. They cited a video several days later from his Instagram account showing loud music and talking from inside his unit.

Multiple other reports of loud music that was emanating throughout the hallway of Hudson's unit were sent to the management of the building. In the initial notice to Hudson that was included in the court filing, numerous residents reported Hudson's controversially loud vehicle waking them up as it went in and out of the parking garage.

On May 11, the company says its security company was notified that people were shooting guns in the garage, only to later find that the guns were toys. Hudson has posted numerous times on his Instagram about "splat wars" where he and friends appear to shoot each other with toy guns in public places.

In addition to the case for which Hudson missed his court appearance, he is still facing two reckless driving charges from March and owes the city over $80,000 over a civil complaint related to his vehicle's violations of the noise ordinance.
