SEATTLE -- Seattle homicide detectives were investigating a body found in a car at a parking garage near Northgate Mall.
Officers were called to a parking garage located next to the Regal Thornton Place Cinemas, across the street from the mall, early Wednesday morning. Officers spotted an unresponsive woman inside the car.
Detectives and crime scene investigators have cordoned off the area and were collecting evidence and interviewing witnesses. Detectives were working with the medical examiner to identify the victim and determine the cause of death
Police were calling the case an "apparent" homicide. It appeared officers were waiting on a search warrant to enter the car.
