SEATTLE — One woman was injured after getting hit by a King County Metro bus on Interstate 5 Sunday night.
The crash took place just south of the North 130th Street exit in Seattle at around 10 p.m.
The bus was headed northbound on I-5 when the woman walked out into the roadway. The bus, which was traveling in the right lane, attempted to move over to avoid hitting the woman, however there was a car in the other lane. The pedestrian was rushed to Harborview Medical Center. She was identified as a 28-year-old from Lynnwood. There has been no update on her condition.
The bus driver and the driver and passenger in the other car were uninjured.
The far right lanes of I-5 were closed for two hours while an investigation took place.
