An eatery with a long history in Seattle will reopen soon.
New management has taken over Cafe Racer in the University District.
Wednesday night, the establishment held a test run during the dinner hours. That means it, did a trial run with actual customers dining in.
Café Racer closed it's doors in October after 12 years in business.
It was put up for sale in March, because former owner Kurt Geissel said he could no longer support its operations.
The café was known as a beloved gathering space for artists and community members. It is also the site of a 2012 mass shooting where a gunman killed four people and later a fifth when he fled.
