One-day community mural completed by Seattle behavioral services nonprofit

The new mural is on Ryther's nine-acre campus basketball court and features muralist Tori Shao.

SEATTLE — A new community mural is in Seattle's Wedgwood neighborhood as of May 18.

The entire mural was completed by community members supporting Ryther - a local non-profit that offers behavioral services for children, youth, and their families.

The mural was sponsored by the AIGA LINK program with a grant from The Coyne Family Foundation. The AIGA LINK Program is a free arts program for high school-aged students in the Greater Seattle Area.

The new mural is on Ryther's nine-acre campus basketball court and features muralist Tori Shao.

The design was inspired by feedback from the Ryther community. It focuses on nature, growth, and being connected.

The group said this new mural also represents hope.
