Seattle police searching for missing teen daughter of Flaming Lips member

Charlotte "Bowie" Drozd, 16, was last seen near the Space Needle on Saturday morning.

SEATTLE — The daughter of a member of the rock band Flaming Lips is missing in Seattle.

Charlotte “Bowie” Drozd, 16, was last seen Saturday at 11:30 a.m. in the 400 block of Broad Street near the Space Needle.

Drozd is the daughter of Flaming Lips guitarist Steven Drozd. The Flaming Lips were in Seattle playing as the opener for Weezer at Climate Pledge Arena on Friday night.

Charlotte Drozd is 5-foot-7 and weighs 130 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing khaki shorts and pink shoes, according to information from the Seattle Police Department.

She may have been headed toward downtown Seattle, according to a missing poster distributed by the band.
