Oregon man who was moving to Seattle missing

The Oregon State Police's Criminal Investigation Division is asking the public's help in finding a man who was reported missing from the Klamath Falls, Ore.-area but was in the process of moving to Seattle.

The Oregon State Police's Criminal Investigation Division is asking the public's help in finding a man who was reported missing from the Klamath Falls, Ore.-area but was in the process of moving to Seattle.

Family members last spoke to 39-year-old Robert Lear on Dec. 11, 2012 and he didn't arrive in Seattle four days later as planned. Family and investigators are concerned for his welfare.

Family members reported Lear missing on Dec. 20, 2012.

Police say Lear may still be in the Klamath Falls area, or anywhere between Southern Oregon and Western Washington.

Lear is described as 5'11 , approximately 190 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He is likely driving a silver 2004 Volkswagen Passat station wagon displaying Oregon license plate 557 FTZ.

Anyone with knowledge of Lear's current location is asked to call the OSP Southern Command Center at (541) 883-5711. Anyone with information that may be helpful in locating Lear is asked to contact Detective Dennis Yaws or Sergeant Bob Fenner at OSP's Klamath Falls Area Command office at (541) 883-5713.
