Prosecutors hammered Thomas dinh Bowman on the stand Monday, zeroing in on the files and books they found on his computer and at his home.

The files include "The Death Dealer's Manual," which offers advice on how to kill someone and cover up the crime.

Bowman claims a large portion of the files on his computer he has never accessed or read, and that he collected some of the material because of his interest in making movies.

He told the courtroom that in that car-to-car shooting in Seattle's Roosevelt neighborhood in August of 2012, he shot Yancy Noll in self defense, and that Noll was chasing him in a road rage incident.

The 31-year-old engineer says before the shooting, Noll threw a water bottle and a wine bottle at him that hit him in the head. He disposed of that evidence, along with his gun, and shattered glass from the window of his BMW convertible, because he thought police would not believe his version of the story.
