It's the weekend of festivities for Seahawk Michael Bennett as he kicked off his new foundation efforts in Seattle Friday.
At a Gatsby-themed dinner for The Bennett Foundation, Bennettt showed off one of the fundraising auction goodies. And you might recognize it: the Seattle police bike he rode after the Seahawks' come-from-behind victory of the Packers in the NFC West Championship game in January.
Friday night's event was just one of the many activities planned over the weekend. Bennett and his Seahawks teammates will host several events for Family Health Day, including group fitness activities, cooking demonstrations by local chefs and a health expo that will offer free health screenings and available community resources.
