RedWolf Pope is a well-known native activist. He hosted a TEDxSeattle talk about his experience at Standing Rock and spent time with KING 5 journalists discussing issues in his community.

He has now been arrested and is facing a slew of charges, including rape, battery and false imprisonment.

The case against him involves both his apartments in Santa Fe, New Mexico and on Boylston Avenue in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood.

According to the nine-page charging document, obtained from Santa Fe police, in June two people staying at Pope's apartment came across pictures and videos on an iPad of whom they identified as RedWolf Pope having sex with unconscious women.

The two say the pictures and videos had been taken in both the Sante Fe and Capitol Hill apartments.

One woman from the Seattle area was identified. She then talked with Seattle police, telling investigators she was drugged and raped by Pope.

The documents also say that hidden cameras were found in the bathroom and bedrooms of both apartments.

TEDxSeattle has since taken Pope's talk down from the web and released a statement condemning the alleged behavior.

The charging documents also state that Pope would also rent his Seattle apartment on Airbnb. KING 5 notified the company of the charges. It has removed Pope as a host and is reaching out to law enforcement in case they could help out in the investigation. Airbbnb says surveillance devices are never permitted in private spaces such as bathrooms, bedrooms or other sleeping areas.

Seattle Police Department told KING 5 that they are both helping out in Santa Fe Police Department's investigation as well as conducting their own investigation into Pope.

Pope has not been charged with any crimes in Seattle.

He has been charged in Santa Fe with criminal sexual penetration in the 3rd degree, criminal sexual contact, aggravated battery, and false imprisonment.

Pope is being held without bond in Santa Fe.
