Crews respond to fire involving church buildings in West Seattle

Seattle Fire reported crews were responding to a fire in a building in the 5000 block of Delridge Way SW.

SEATTLE — A fire involving three buildings that are part of a West Seattle church is now under control, according to Seattle Fire.

Around 12:40 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 12, Seattle Fire reported crews were responding to a fire in a building in the 5000 block of Delridge Way SW.

Crews reported the fire then extended to an adjacent building, causing the roof to collapse.

The fire was reportedly under control shortly after 2 p.m.

A total of three buildings were involved, according to Seattle Fire. It's currently unclear exactly which buildings were involved. 

Crews searched the buildings and confirmed nobody was inside.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under invesigation.
