Caribbean Roast. Fire-roasted corn. The Press sandwich.
These are three of the most popular dishes on the menu at Un Bien, a Seattle shack that specializes in Caribbean sandwiches and cuisine.
According to USA Today, Un Bien is the best restaurant in Washington, based on a Yelp algorithm that takes user-generated reviews and ratings into account.
Un Bien opened in Ballard in 2015.
Some of the flavors may taste familiar - Un Bien's owners are sons of the former owner of foodie-favorite Paseo (which recently opened a second location in SoDo).
“My only regret is that I don’t live in Seattle because I would most likely be here every week,” wrote Alexander Y., a reviewer on Yelp.
In April, Un Bien opened its second shack in Shilshole. Both locations are open Wednesday through Saturday (11 a.m. to 9 p.m.) and Sunday (11 a.m. to 8 p.m.). To the delight of many customers, they now take credit cards.
