Sneak peek at Master Builders Care Foundation 'Rampathon'
Volunteers building wheelchair ramps for seniors during 'ramp-a-thon'

Master Builders Care Foundation is holding a Rampathon on Saturday, May 14, 2011. They are building 17 free wheelchair ramps for low income, disabled homeowners in King and Snohomish counties. All of the supplies, time, and man-power are donated.

Christie Johnson got a sneak peek at one of those ramps this morning.

We do this every year for people that have need in the community. It's a great program and I'm very proud to be a part of it' said Doug Main, volunteer ramp builder.

It's going to be a great help in getting out of the house. Just to get down the steps will be a blessing said 92-year-old Lula Martin, recipient of a ramp.

Since 1993, Master Builders Association members have built more than two hundred free ramps for community members.
