SR 18 near Snoqualmie reopens after serious 2-car crash

According to Eastside Fire and Rescue, one person was taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries.

SNOQUALMIE, Wash. — State Route 18 near Snoqualmie reopened after a serious two-car crash shut down all lanes Friday evening.

According to Eastside Fire and Rescue, one person was taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries. 

The crash happened in the eastbound lane at milepost 25, near Tiger Mountain Summit.

In a post on social media, EFR said this was the second major collision reported in the area Friday. "Please drive with care," the post read.

Washington State Patrol, Washington State Department of Transportation Incident Response and Bellevue Fire are on the scene.
