Cascade Crossroads chronicling the story of the much-anticipated wildlife bridge over Interstate 90 just east of Snoqualmie Pass.
The overpass will connect two important habitats in the Price Creek area. Currently, there are several options for wildlife to pass under the highway, but larger animals, like elk, don't like traveling underground. The bridge is designed to give the easiest and most natural path forward.
It will be North America’s largest wildlife crossings project and is expected to open in October of this year.
"The Cascade Crossroads film aims to not only share this unique story but also inspire action in other landscapes facing similar tensions between wildlife and roadways," according to the film's website.
The film was produced by local filmmaker Ted Grudowski.
