Ginger kittens Manny and Rosie are back together again after being separated while at Seattle Humane Society.
Seattle Humane says Rosie, (called Miss Belle at the shelter) was surrendered to Seattle Humane with her brother Manny (Pumpkin at the shelter), as part of an unplanned litter.
When Manny was adopted right away, Rosie was so upset she stopped eating and got sick with an upper respiratory infection.
Rosie was put into foster care, where she received lots of one-on-one care and medication.
The family who adopted Manny found out that he had a sister and when they finally saw her appear on the SHS website they raced down to Seattle Humane and adopted her.
The new kittens are together once again, and bringing joy to their new family, who told SHS, The reunion between the two was absolutely heartwarming. They kissed, kissed and kissed each other's face for the longest time. They were both so happy. She acclimated to the house immediately, with him as her guide. Their personalities are so different. She is sweet as a princess and he is like a monkey on a cupcake. They have made our home filled with love and laughter.
