Beloved mascot and social media favorite, "Dubs," announced his retirement on Twitter Monday night.
The University of Washington mascot is retiring after the 2018 football season after nearly 10 years on the field, he said in the tweet.
"Dubs" says he is most looking forward to spending time with family and frolicking in his backyard.
