OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) - The Washington Department of Licensing is starting to transition from a 5-year to a 6-year driver's license cycle.
During the five-year transition, some people will receive a 5-year license and some a 6-year.
The cost of the license remains $9 per year, so the cost will be $45 or $54, depending on the term.
