WASHINGTON, USA — The Fourth of July is just days away!

Laws surrounding the use and sale of fireworks have changed in the last few years. For those who want to leave it up to the professionals, here's a list of displays and events happening around western Washington.

Seafair Fourth of July in Seattle

  • Location: Gas Works Park, South Lake Union Park and Lake Union

  • Price: Free and open to those of all ages. Reserved seats can still be purchased for around $50.

Seafair is one of Washington's most famous and has been voted one of the country’s best fireworks shows by USA TODAY and Business Insider. The event will include live music, food vendors and field games. For more information, click here.

The fireworks show will also be shown on KONG and KING5+ starting at 9 p.m.

This year lights at playfields, ballfields and other athletic parks will be turned on during nighttime hours to discourage fireworks lighting. For a full list of parks that will be lit, visit seattle.gov.
