Winds on Mount Rainier forced another delay in recovering the body of a park ranger who died helping four stranded climbers to safety.
Mount Rainier National Park spokeswoman Nancy Stimson says crews will try again to recover the body of 33-year-old Nick Hall this afternoon if winds subside.
Dangerous conditions on Mount Rainier briefly stabilized Thursday, allowing for an initial recovery attempt.
Hall fell nearly 4,000 feet from Emmons Glacier last week. Bad weather and the threat of avalanches have kept teams at bay since then.
Several feet of snow have fallen on the upper areas of the mountain since the accident.

Hall is from Maine. His family traveled to Seattle for the recovery and a private memorial, which will be held tomorrow, Friday, June 29 at 10 a.m. at the Paradise Visitor s Center on Mount Rainier.
A memorial fund has been set up for Nick Hall's family through the National Park Foundation.
