SEATTLE — A woman was killed early Friday morning in Seattle after being struck by a car in the Crown Hill neighborhood.
The Seattle Police Department said officers responded just after 5 a.m. to a reported collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian. Officers and medical personnel from the Seattle Fire Department arrived on the scene and found a woman unresponsive in the roadway.
Police say the driver remained on scene and cooperated with officers. A Drug Recognition Expert responded to the scene and police say there were no signs of impairment with the driver.
