PIERCE COUNTY, Wash. — A woman was shot near Spanaway Sunday evening.
According to the Pierce County Sheriff's Department, there was some sort of confrontation before the shooting at 28th Avenue East and 177th Court East. The woman was armed when she was shot and she fired back at the suspect.
The victim was non-life-threatening injured, according to PCSD.
Officials are searching for a male suspect who fled the scene in a vehicle.
