Drivers passing through Seattle this weekend should ignore plans to close northbound I-5 ramps to West Seattle or Beacon Hill.
WSDOT had announced plans to close the ramps from April 6-9, but canceled the project a couple days before due to weather; the forecast calls for plenty of rain this weekend.
The closures will be postponed for better weather. Crews still need to replace the old and deteriorating asphalt with concrete.
Drivers should take note: this closure will happen, at a later date.
