Good to Go passes

SEATTLE The Washington State Department of Transportation is warning about an email scam involving it s Good to Go electronic tolling system.

Customers and non-customers say they have received e-mails asking them to verify their account information. The emails ask the recipient to click on a link.

WSDOT says it did not send these emails and they are warning you not to click the link or open any attachments. WSDOT says it has verified that all Good to Go account, credit card and other personal information has not been compromised.

The agency says it would never ask customers to verify their accounts by clicking a link within an email. Customers should always log into their account as they normally do.

WSDOT says it is investigating where the emails came from.
