A search team recovered the body of a 20-year-old man who disappeared on Lake Tapps on Saturday.
The man was swimming in the lake with a friend when he went under and didn t resurface.
The man has not been identified.
Firefighters say it's a harsh reminder that while it's warm outside, the water may be too cold for swimmers.
You know you're out there swimming and you can become hypothermic and it gets harder and harder to swim, said John McDonald/East Pierce Fire.
This is the second drowning at Lake Tapps this summer.
