SEATTLE — Track Nov. 7, 2023 general election results for the biggest races across Kitsap County, including Bremerton City Council, Bainbridge City Council, Port Orchard City Council, Port Orchard mayor and a number of other local races.
An initial round of election returns was released shortly after 8 p.m. on election day. These returns are from ballots that were turned in early and tabulated. However, counties will release additional results in the days after the election as more ballots are counted. Additional results are typically released daily.
The County Canvassing Boards will certify and transmit general election results Nov. 28. The last day for the secretary of state to certify the general election results is Dec. 7.
City council, mayoral and measures election results
Voters will elect city council members in Bremerton, Bainbridge Island, Port Orchard and Poulsbo. There is a mayoral race in Port Orchard where incumbent Rob Putaansuu is seeking his third term.
School, fire and public utility district election results
A big measure on the ballot is Proposition 1, a capital improvement and school construction bond for the South Kitsap School District. The measure would replace five existing schools with new buildings and renovate a wing of South Kitsap High School.
