SPOKANE COUNTY - A strong storm rolled through Eastern Washington on Friday bringing heavy rain, hail, and even tornadoes.
The National Weather Service says two tornadoes touched down near Coulee City and Airway Heights around 3:30 p.m.
There were no immediate reports of damage from the tornadoes, but winds from the storm did knock down trees and power lines in other areas.
Tornadoes are not common in Spokane County. NWS Spokane says the last confirmed tornado came on May 21, 2004.
The storm also brought hail in parts of Eastern Washington and Idaho.
