TACOMA, Wash.-- The Tacoma School Districtdecided Thursday night not to close Foss High School.
The district was considering closing Foss to help with a $25 million shortfall over the next three years.
Closing Foss would have saved the district $2 million next year, but that option is now off the table.
However, the Tacoma School District is still considering increasing class sizes and closing several elementary schools.
