The Boeing Classic brings the world's best PGA senior golfers back to the Northwest

They'll play at The Club at Snoqualmie Ridge for the 19th time in August. Sponsored by the Boeing Classic.

SNOQUALMIE, Wash. — In less than two weeks one of the most gorgeous golf courses in the Northwest will be hosting some of the best golfers in the world.

For the 19th time, The Club at Snoqualmie Ridge will be the home of the Boeing Classic. This tournament will bring together elite players on the senior PGA circuit.

Tournament Director Ryan Ingalls says golf fans have much to look forward to this year.

"We have hall of famers like Ernie Els and Vijay Singh will be coming which we are looking forward to," said Ingalls. "This course provides a lot of challenge, but it's very scenic and no hole is alike."

The tournament isn't just an amazing event to watch - it's also a great fundraiser. Since it began the event has raised more than $9 million for the Benaroya Research Institute at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health – a world leader in human immunology.

"At the Benaroya Research Institute, we study diseases of the immune system so these are things like autoimmune diseases, allergy, asthma, cancer, even COVID-19," said Dr. Jessica Hamerman with the institute. "The money raised here by the Boeing Classic and from other philanthropy helps us do cutting-edge research. Technology moves really fast in the research area and it allows us to really move in and use new technology very quickly when we have this philanthropic funding."

The Boeing Classic runs from August 9 – 11. There will also be a host of other events held at The Club at Snoqualmie Ridge leading up to the tournament.
