Combatting signs of aging with green tea botanicals

Azfasst’s products are designed by a board-certified dermatologist to deliver visible results. Sponsored by Azfasst.

SEATTLE — Before she developed her Azfasst skincare line, many of Dr. Anne Riordan’s patients were confused about what products to use on their skin.

“They were spending so much money on drug store products and department store products and couldn’t even pronounce the ingredients in many of the products,” Dr. Riordan said. “So, I said I’m going to take matters into my own hands.”

The products Dr. Riordan, a board-certified dermatologist, created have unique green tea botanicals designed to reverse the signs of aging. Green tea is a key ingredient to reduce skin inflammation and redness.

“It absolutely calms everything down and helps promote skin health,” Dr. Riordan said.

Azfasst’s Facial Gel is made with the signature green tea, salicylic acid and lactic acid and is a mild exfoliator.

“It helps to get rid of dead skin cells on your skin, open up those pores, clean them out,” Dr. Riordan said. “It helps to lighten up those brown spots.”

It can also do double duty, and you can use it on your hands to help reduce the appearance of brown spots on them.

In addition to green tea botanicals, the Eye and Lip Cream contains caffeine to reduce puffiness under the eyes. The cream can also be used on vertical lip lines, under eye circles and crow’s feet.

“It goes on super smooth,” Dr. Riordan said. “You can put it on once or twice a day, so it’s not going to make your eyes feel sticky or gritty after you put it on.”

Azfasst’s combination Three-Piece Set with Facial Gel, Cleanser and Moisturizer provides a simple three-step process for maintaining optimal skin health.
