Wellness and relaxation come easy at this lakefront hotel

Healthy fare, room to roam and a spa will help you reset. Sponsored by Hyatt Regency Lake Washington at Seattle's Southport

RENTON, Wash. — Located right on Lake Washington, next door to Gene Coulon Memorial Beach Park with plenty of space to walk or run, a stay at Hyatt Regency Lake Washington at Seattle’s Southport is a perfect way to start your New Year off on the right foot.

“With the location of the hotel and the scenic views, our guests have the ability to relax and come here to find inspiration and I think after the last year we all had that’s something we could all use more of. So it only made sense to focus on our care and commitment to wellness,” said Pina Purpero, Hyatt Lake Washington’s General Manager.

All three restaurants here - Water's Table, Dock & Drink, and the 24/7 Market are kicking off 2021 with new menu items that are healthy and locally sourced.

Try Water’s Table’s Farro Chicken Bowl with Winter Squash and Almonds, or their Winter Vegetables: roasted delicata squash with beluga lentils, brussels sprouts, carrot puree and chili oil.  Dock & Drink’s Pesto Chicken Rigatoni with artichoke hearts, sundried tomatoes and roasted cauliflower is another healthy option. Eating your veggies has never been this much fun. In a hurry? A berry smoothie from the hotel’s 24/7 market will have you good to go. Also, the restaurants have designed some tented outdoor seating options for enjoying both the fare, and the fine lake views.

The Spa at the Lake is welcoming guests by reservation for a complete menu of services, including their signature body treatment – a full body Turkish salt scrub, scalp treatment, and massage ending in a luxury foot treatment.

The fitness center is open by appointment so you can have the whole place to yourself.

Also, Hyatt’s app includes Headspace, a meditation app. And yoga mats are available if you want to find some Zen in the privacy of your own suite.

And this hotel also welcomes furry friends, because our pets always make us feel good.

“I think one of the perks of this hotel is that we’re pet friendly, and right now we all understand how important that is for guests to be able to travel with their pet,” said Purpero. There’s even a resident canine concierge, a golden lab named Lindy, who occasionally makes appearances in the lobby.

A package called ‘Hyatt Night In’ includes a tent and smores for the kiddos and a bottle of wine for the parents as well as early check in and late check out (use the code NIGHTIN when looking at dates). And it's not too early to start planning for Valentines Day; they've got a deal for you and your sweetie that includes a special fixed price dinner for two at Water’s Table, a sweet treat upon arrival, and a late checkout. Find all packages on their Offers Page.
