Muckleshoot Casino’s new hotel tower nears completion

The glass tower will have about 400 guestrooms, expanded gaming, an indoor pool, spa services, and a rooftop steakhouse. Sponsored by Muckleshoot Casino.

Muckleshoot Casino’s new 18-story resort tower now has 95 percent of its glass on, and the final steel beam was hoisted in place at the end of August.

“Muckleshoot Casino and the Muckleshoot tribe have been known for the biggest and the best in the northwest,” said Robert Dearstine, executive director of resort operations at Muckleshoot Casino. “So now it’s the next part of the evolution.”

The hotel is the tallest structure between Seattle and Tacoma. It will include a steakhouse on its rooftop with indoor and outdoor dining. The pool is indoor and can be opened up on nice weather days to include an outdoor space.

The tower’s view is always impressive, but on a clear day, Mt. Rainier, the Olympic Mountains, and the Seattle skyline are visible.

“You can never get sick of that view,” Dearstine said.

Earlier phases of the casino’s updates added a 20,000-square-foot events center, a trio of fast-casual dining restaurants, increased smoke-free gaming, and Caesars Sportsbook at Muckleshoot.

Once the tower is completed in the fall of 2023, Muckleshoot Casino Resort will have 157,000 square feet of continuous gaming, 29,000 total square feet of event space, almost a dozen dining choices, a 5,500-square-foot spa and more.

“We want you to you to experience everything you hope to experience when you come to Muckleshoot,” Dearstine said.
