Nominate a Hyundai Hometown Hero to give them a chance to win a new car

The Hyundai Hometown Hero award recognizes those who make a positive impact on local communities. Sponsored by the Western Washington Hyundai Dealers.

SEATTLE — Many people are making a positive impact in our community each day. You have the opportunity to recognize an extraordinary person by nominating them for the Hyundai Hometown Heroes Contest.

“We just want to honor a hometown hero here in the Puget Sound area and recognize them for their great contribution,” said Jim Koch, Western Washington Hyundai Dealer representative.

Your nominee could be a teacher, firefighter, healthcare worker, volunteer, police officer, military representative or anyone making a measurable difference in the community. The winner of the Hometown Heroes Contest will receive an all-new 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe.

The three-row Santa Fe SUV has power-reclining second row captain’s chairs, a dual wireless phone charger and the latest safety technology.

“It’s just loaded with amenities,” Koch said. “It’s a luxurious family vehicle.”

The Santa Fe also has a UV-C sterilization compartment that kills germs with a flash of UV light, and the SUV comes with two years of complimentary maintenance.

“They really kept the driver and all of the passengers in mind,” Koch said. “They’ve got USB ports that are actually in the seats. They’ve got tons of compartments.”

The Hyundai Hometown Hero will be driving the new Santa Fe with a standard 10-year/100,000-mile warranty. Koch says it’s important for the Western Washington Hyundai Dealers to help give a community hero the recognition they deserve.

“We wanted to change their life for the good because of the good they do for others,” he said.

The nomination form for the Hyundai Hometown Heroes Contest opens April 15 on the king5.com/hero. You can also learn more about the Santa Fe on the Hyundai website.
