A day at Seattle Humane! #AdoptDontShop | Local Lens Seattle

You to the rescue! It’s ‘Day of Giving!’ time again which is Seattle Humane’s biggest fundraiser of the year.

BELLEVUE, Wash. — I got to meet some adorably adoptable animals for this worthy cause 🐶🐾 on a recent visit to Seattle Humane.

I checked out CatVille first and met the new love of my life- Juno. She is the most precious kitten who is currently available. (But probably not for long)

I also went to DogVille and got to play with some equally precious puppies and met a couple long timers, including Tiger. Tiger is a 2-year-old American bully/Rottweiler mix who has been looking for a family since December. He loves taking his candy cane for walks and getting lots of belly rubs. Find out more about him here

Don’t worry though, if you aren’t in the market to adopt right now, you can help by donating on the ‘Day of Giving,’ which is Sept. 19. It’s all about uniting our community to raise $175,000 in one day to support lifesaving work.

Seattle Humane wants people to know it’s more than an animal shelter- it’s a pet resource center with various community programs and low-income vet care to those in need. Help support that work by giving on Sept. 19!
